How It Works

  1. Commitment-Free $0 intro session

We meet at a public library or online. I ask about goals and test dates, give a short SAT-style math mini-assessment, and review a few questions with the student. At the end, I outline a clear 4-week plan.

  2. Bluebook baseline at home

Between the free session and the first paid session, the student completes an official practice test (just the Math portion) in the College Board Bluebook app at home.

This gives a current SAT Math score and a breakdown by math category (algebra, advanced math, data analysis, etc.). I use that to fine-tune the plan from the intro session so we focus on the topics that will move the score the most.

  3. Weekly SAT Math tutoring

We meet 2 hours per week for 4 weeks. Each session usually includes a quick check-in and review of practice problems from the previous week, targeted teaching on specific SAT Math topics, practice drills in the style of the digital SAT using Bluebook, and new extra practice problems assigned.

Location and Format

Most sessions are in person at Neptune Public Library or another nearby public library at a quiet table or study space. This gives us a consistent, distraction-free environment to work in.

An online option is available if meeting in person is difficult. Students should bring a pencil, a calculator, and any prior score reports if available.
